That book has changed dates and been postponed since April 2001! Yet there is a cover and book discription out for over a year!

Anyone know if it is really coming out in November?

I don't know what the story is with this book, but I kind of suspect that it has a pro McClory edge to it and may have even been backed by McClory. Possibly Eon has had something to do with these mysterious postponements? I don't know this for a fact, it's just a feeling.

Well that's okay...and it's good news that the book is finally coming out. The reason I felt this was a McClory thing was because on Amazon the book advertises that it will "include a James Bond screenplay written by Ian Fleming himself", and I wondered if maybe it was the original McClory/Fleming THUNDERBALL script. That was the only script I think Fleming ever wrote (but I could be wrong), and if it is tis script certainly McClory would have to sign off on its publication, considering he bases all his delusional "rights" arguments on it. There has also long been talk that a book about the whole McClory/Eon history was in the works (backed by McClory), but that seems to have vanished. I thought maybe this was it in a disguised form. :)

I've had it pre-ordered for almost two years. I'll be happy to finally get it.

Ahhh, I recall this pro-KM book.

I have some sources working on "who got paid" on this for a while. If the "delusional" Mr. McClory gained anything from it's publication, I won't be dropping a dime on it...unless I run out of toilet paper....:)

So this book does indeed have something to do with McClory? I thought I smelt a rat at work here.

That's one more that I have to get. I ordered "The World of James Bond," or somewhere along those lines. Anyone have that book, is it any good?
