I know when I got a tad excited about QoS, I got a hold of "too much information" When I went into the theater to watch Quantum of Solace, I practically knew what was going to happen. Will you plan to spoil yourself with spoilers or change yourself to only one teaser viewing only?

What is your whole plan for Bond 23 this time around?

(I know kinda a stupid question, but could raise discussion!)
P.S I'm sorry if this has been posted before but I don't give a because I don't want to go searching through millions of threads just because this same question has been posted before)

I will try to avoid all the spoilers until I see the film and then go back and read reviews etc.
I like to go in cold and be surprised by the film. Some get their enjoyment in wanting to know everything as it happens. For this website they have to. Not me.

I always avoid spoilers. I can't believe anybody wants to know what happens in a film they're about to see.

It's easier to avoid spoilers on the web than offline, though. The very night I was going to see the much anticipated Matrix Revolutions, my best buddy said to me, before entering the theatre, "You know Neo dies, don't you?" (Oh, SPOILER!)

I didn't know too much about CR, but for some reason I completely spoiled QOS from the beginning. For Bond 23 I will only look at official production stills, posters, and trailers. No clips or anything else.

Short answer, no. I knew far too much about QoS going in (granted the two weeks of reviews pouring in before I could see it didn't help).

I'm avoiding the vast majority of spoilers and will rely principally on official stuff.

Trying to avoid spoilers is always difficult - if not impossible for a Bond fan. I did the best I could to avoid plot references with QoS and will do the same for 23.

going to be avoiding spoilers again. did not avoid them for casino royale since i had read the novel so i knew what would happen. for quantum of solace i had a bond blackout. did not see any previews (i would be watching tv with friends and when a bond preview would come on i would run into another room in order to not see it so they thought i was crazy)

i definitely enjoyed it more being unspoiled because there is something special about not knowing what is going to happen during it or waiting for a certain cool stunt that you saw in the trailers.

Righty helped me lose a facebook "friend" by putting a (fake) Startrek spoiler as a comment on my status. I thought it was hilarious.

I don't feel it spoils my enjoyment of the film at all. After all, I plan on watching (and enjoying) most Bond films multiple times, and it's not like I get a memory wipe after every time I do. Neither do I seek out spoilers, because I don't really care that much. But if I'm exposed to one, oh well.

I stayed spoiler-free for QoS, excepted for the Italian scenes, and I don't think I will go into such efforts for Bond 23. I don't think being spoiler-free really improved my appreciation of the film, and the process of speculating over the tiny bits of news during filming is fun, after all.

I'm staying as spoiler free as I can. If they put a clip up on Youtube (like they did with the Bond-Mathis in Italy scene) I'll probably watch that, but otherwise I'm going to make every effort to avoid spoilers. Speculation and early news such as writers is all well and good, but once the first real stuff starts rearing its head, I'm gone. At least from this part of the board.

Didn't avoid spoilers for CR at all, but I wasn't exactly looking for them (read the leaked script after I saw the movie, even though I could have had access to it at an early stage). Thought I had known too much about the movie before, and so I decided to try and stay a bit more spoiler-free for QoS. Guess what!? I hated that.

With B23, I'll go for spoilers again. Makes life easier, especially if one is a mod on a Bond board B)

I will be spoiler-free again. There's plenty of time for me to discuss the movie, after it has been released.

I find that on CBn, it's great - you can remain spoiler-free and those who know more don't let on. So, well done to you all.

I don't have the strength to remain spoiler free.

I knew virtually everything about Casino Royale, before it was released, I saw the script for cripes sakes!? And I still enjoyed it and still got some nice suprises.

I enjoyed Quantum too upon release, no doubt Bond 23 will be any different.

I'll stay spoiler free just like I did for Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace. I will watch the trailers & TV commercials but that's about it. I watch these because they are just impossible to avoid. I will skip spoiler discussion here, reviews, behind the scenes photos, etc. I like being surprised at things like Mathis' fate in Quantum of Solace. After the movie, I saw a photo of it here so I was glad I was using the spoiler free skin for the boards. B)

Oh, I wouldn't say that they're "impossible to avoid". Oddly enough I never once saw a trailer or TV spot for Casino Royale. I only heard of its existence when I was grazing Blockbuster out of boredom and there in the new releases section was CR. Saw one teaser trailer for QoS when I saw either Iron Man or Hulk, forget which, and I only saw two TV spots after it was in theatres.

not impossible to avoid just very difficult. i would try to read what trailers were coming before a movie so that i would be sure there wouldnt be one for quantum of solace. i didnt think there would be one for the dark knight when i went to see that for a midnight showing and there was not one at the theater i saw it at but it seemed like when i was talking to friends all of them had seen a trailer for it when they saw the dark knight so i guess i kind of got lucky in that case.

I'm with you there, Professor Dent. I love seeing the trailers though. To me, they aren't spoilers, merely an idea of the plot and action scenes. But I loved not knowing about Vesper's or Msthis' death or anything about the script or plot. It makes it so much more fun for me.

for the next one i will probably accept seeing the trailers in theaters and spots on tv but wont watch them over and over like i did with casino royale where i would look at every single shot in detail.

I was one of the people who read the script to Casino Royale before the film came out. That didnt spoil the movie for me, in fact it increased my enjoyment as I eagerly awaited to see how my favorite scenes would play out in the film.

With Quantum of Solace I knew less, but still knew a few things. That didnt spoil it for me either.

With Bond 23 I won't actively seek out spoilers (that is to say I won't try to read everything about the film), but if I find an interesting news article that contains a spoiler, I won't beat myself up over it.

For Bond 23 Id rather just watch the teaser and then see the movie, but I know I wont be able to contain myself and i will end up watching the trailers over and over again. Heres hoping the don't give away the majority of the plot like most of them have in the past.
Just a hint of the basic outlook and a glimpse of some of the locations and action shots.

OK to know: Plot Summary without too much detail of what happens, filiming locations and locations the story takes place; all trailers.

Will not partake: Spoilers and still gallery posted on CBn or elsewhere. Any opportunity to read scripts or news that really desribes pertinent plot points, etc.

Spoilers never bother me. But then I always read the last page of a book first. And with biographies I like to read the death first because, just like Alan Bennett, childhood rarely interests me.

Lol, I find that kind of odd but to each his own.

Anyway, I'll do what I always do for a movie I'm interested in. I'll follow it through production and whatnot but I wont read the scripts or look at pivotal spoilers.

I will be very much immersed in the spoilers as usual for BOND 23. Part of the excitement for me is the little snippets of info we gradually get as production gets under way and trying to piece them all together to get an idea of the movie. Admittedly many of you will find it strange, but it's my idea of Bond-related-fun.

I doubt I'll spoil too much for myself. I'll be on here a lot checking out some location images and the like but I prefer to not know too much about the film beforehand. I don't want to be sitting wondering when something will happen.

I do find it strange, but I have greatly enjoyed reading your pre-QOS posts with snippets of spoilers AFTER seeing the film, so there is enjoyment to be had from the spoiler section even now.
