MICHAEL MADSEN's financial woes continue to worsen - the movie tough guy owes thousands of dollars to Hollywood pals PIERCE BROSNAN and QUENTIN TARANTINO.
The star filed for bankruptcy earlier this month (Jun09) and the legal papers reveal he is heavily in debt to both stars.
The papers, obtained by TMZ.com, state Madsen owes $25,000 (£16,667) in personal loans to the actor, and $1 million (£666,667) to his Reservoir Dogs director, Tarantino.
The website reports Madsen is nearly $4 million (£2.67 million) in debt overall, which is barely covered by his monthly income of $3,392 (£2,261).

Bloody hell, he's having all this trouble even though he's already appeared in 11 movies this year with another 17 set to come

No kidding...50 different projects since 2007, so laziness certainly isn't the problem! How does one go from appearing in Hollywood fare like DAD and Kill Bill to poverty?
Hm, perhaps as a partial answer, seems he's twice divorced and has five kids, so with the current wife and assuming he has to pay alimony, that's eight mouths he has to feed.

I've read quotes from him where he says he takes acting as just a job, a way to pay the bills etc. A way to feed eight mouths would would be another way to put it I guess, but apparently not a sufficient one.
How do you know, you can't possibly have seen all of them!
Besides, there's no correlation between quality and salary.
I wonder if he got paid more for his Orange advert from a year or two ago than he does for most of these movies?
