Apparently in the eyes of the mass populace those 80 flaws were very minor

I love how that article doesn't mention her "I don't give a B)..."

Most complained about film of the year? Yet another reason to be proud of Casino Royale.

I think it's highly amusing that using 'bad' words prompts more complaints than brutal violence.

I didn't complain, but I'm not ashamed to say I honestly did feel some of the content in Casino Royale merited a 15 certificate, far more so than The Dark Knight which attracted a good deal of controversy in this area.

...and two from viewers who mistook a shadow on a woman’s leg for her genitalia.

Geez, I hope it was at least the upper leg.

I don't even know where in the world that scene is. Went and rewatched the film, can't find anything. Anyone got a clue?

I'm not in the slightest bit offended by swearing, but, for me, the - admittedly very mild- swear words in Quantum of Solace did stand out. I just thought that it was an unnecessary move, to be honest. The Bond films, in my view, don't need to edge towards greater use of swear words and violence,as they will just end up as another series of thriller movies a la Lethal Weapon, Bourne, Die Hard etc. The Broccolis tried to make Bond more realistic and relevant in LTK and got burned at the box office. Whilst it seems generally acknowledged that going to the other extreme (Die Another Day, Moonraker) is not a popular move either, they have, for the most part, managed to strike a good balance between realism and fantasy. I really hope they don't lose that balance, just to try and keep up with the mainstream.

Gripe over. I'm now off to watch QOS on slow mo, to look for the shadow so that I can be offended and complain to the BBFC B)

Gary Glitter would beg to disagree.

But he still saw some rise in interest in his career and maybe even a slight rise in sales. It's not right but it happens.

Woody Allen (who I DO NOT EQUATE IN THAT WAY WITH GLITTER) had his biggest box office success when the adopted daughter affair hit the headlines. Though that relationship was proved to be genuine without any wrongdoings / illegal behaviour.

Anyway. We digress...

Was it Hank Marvin? Always said he was a bit of a B).

Gary Glitter is still disappointed from the time he went to see YOLT, only to discover that Little Nelly is a helicopter.

I'm guessing they're referring to that shot in the hotel, of the waitress as Medrano was getting ready to rape her?
