My ideal Bond 23 probably wont happen due to unavailability of my ideal villain as he'll be off on his third Motorcycle adventure (Long Way To Go) from May 2010. However if they dont start filming till January 2011 he'd be available

Etc... I want the PTS to be a man on his cell telling the people you've already got me in deep enough. He is followed and killed but Bond is of course there to take down the the killers. Sort of a detective plot like DN. The man was working with Quantum and White and other members are in NYC. It's just a thought but it would be interesting if the whole movie took place in 24 hours.

If you are referring to the short story by Richard Connell that would be intense. Very original for a Bond movie.

Yes, that's the one that I was referring to. I think that it would be a great situation to put Bond in, and the Australian Outback would be a great venue for such a "contest" between Bond and a QUANTUM hitman.

Indeed, The only time Bond has come close to this was in TMWTGG. But if the story was even more related to TMDG I would love that. We did short stories last year in english and that was the only one I enjoyed.

Title: A Whisper of Hate
Cast:
- Daniel Craig as James Bond
- Yvonne Strahovski as Mary Ann Russel
- Tim Roth as Colonel Schreiber
- Arnold Vosloo as Agent X
- Paul Ritter as Guy Haines
- Jesper Christensen as Mr. White
- Judi Dench as M
- Stana Katic as Corinne
Crew:
- Directed by Sean Penn
- Written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Peter Morgan
- Music by David Arnold
Locations:
- Canada
- England
- Australia
Plot:
- The film starts with Bond in Canada, acting on intelligence he obtained from his interrogation of Dominic Greene as to the delivery of intelligence material in Canada (in relation to the leak in Canadian intelligence exposed by Bond at the end of QUANTUM OF SOLACE). This opening part of the film would be an adaptation of Fleming's "From A View To a Kill".
The film picks back up with Mr. White and Guy Haines attempting to clean up the operation, and they've turned to Quantum's top hitman, Agent X. Agent X goes around the world, putting down the Quantum members associated with Dominic Greene's failed project in Bolivia. Bond races against the clock to locate these Quantum members to offer them political asylum in exchange for what they know about Mr. White and Guy Haines and their involvement in Quantum. M is met with resistance from her superiors in the British government, as Guy Haines is a very powerful man within the government. This forces Bond to go under the radar to achieve his objectives, although this time with M's full support and the under-the-table support of MI6.
Bond fails to save most of the Quantum members who attended the Tosca opera in QUANTUM OF SOLACE, but tracks the remaining operative to Australia. In Australia, Bond meets Mary Ann Russel, who helps him find the remaining Quantum operative. Bond and Russel manage to get the operative out of Australia and into MI6 custody under the cover of darkness, but are then kidnapped by Quantum agents and dumped in the Australian Outback, where they are tracked by Agent X, who treats Bond and Russel as sport (this segment of the film would be an adaptation of the short story "The Most Dangerous Game").
The film would end with Bond and MI6 having a decent amount of knowledge of Haines and Mr. White, as well as the Quantum organization, and leaves them in a good place to begin dismantling the organization in BOND 24.
