Jordan and I are planning for at least two themed days, literary and cinematic.

Is there anyone who would be specifically interested in the collecting side of the whole thing? It's something we're considering but we're not really sure about the fans interest in it.

We need to represent the Bond women, in a very detailed manner....one of the former bond women should be there to lecture...and there should be a group discussion of their work and influence.

Not a theme Xenobia but I am working to attract women. I'd hate to think we had 99% male attendance.

Why not a day around the theme of the James Bond Girls????

And if not...how about "Nobody Does it Better" and that way we can highlight the best from the cinematic and the literary works.

If you single out a sex from the films for a day theme, you run in to issues about how you approach other themes. Do we then go on to have a day dedicated to the M's?

Having read about it in "The Legacy" yesterday, I got the idea that we could have a good laugh watching some of those spoofs and little flicks from Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons etc. If we get enough of that stuff, we could make a videotape of it an run it continously, maybe on a TV-Set in the lobby or so... just an idea

Hmmm...

A tape of spoofs running is a good idea. Bond has infulenced so much over the years and I've got all of the Simpsons bits...

As to the whole Bond girl debate -

Knowing something of both your opinions, I think that both elements can be combined. Hopefully, we'll have enough Bond guys and girls for all to enjoy.

For the day tours (literary and film), it might be cool to have any of our speakers add to it. Give us their tour so to speak.

Just a thought.
