Well He's involved in alot of other films after QOS.
Look you can say what you like about Forster, but the guy is a genius director.
Monster's Ball is very compassionate and thoughtfull, extremely moving stuff. It's a film where silence speaks louder then words, and it comes together brilliantly.
Stranger Than Fiction has some amazing proformences in it, and the film is subtle and very reflective, fantastically directed.
The Kite Runner is so well put together, the story is so moving and has so much depth and layers to peel off. A very emotional film.
Forster wanted to direct a quick fast Bond film (like a bullet he says) compared to the epic large CR, he succeeds, there is emotion as well as thrills and spills throughout. Tosca is a tunning setpiece, Daniel, Olga and Mathieu's acting is spot on at all times. It works so well, that scene in the hotel where Bond is about to mercy kill Camille is extremly shocking and very well done.
Also QOs was so damn stylish and well put together, the action scenes let it down slightly, as it was all to much fast-cut, that's my only real complant, I like the flashy editing in the Bourne movies but leave it away from Bond, Bond is about showcasing the action and making a big deal of it.

I completely agree! And do you know what, if the guy wasn't proving too hard that he can do action, we would've had a masterpiece of a Bond film.
It's the same with Lee Tamahori, apparently his earlier films are very good.

He's not a bad director. Really I think QoS is his worst project, at least out of what I've seen, and even then the directing isn't terrible. QoS as a whole still ranks near the top in my books and a lot of other Forster's films have been great, too, in terms of direction, writing, and acting. Biggest problem, I think, is QoS was Forster's first action film. He's really only done drama.

A bit rubbish
***with Sean Connery's voice***
"I'm not shurprished."
BTW, like you say when playing Texas Hold'em...
"Check"
or, even better, "Fold"
Edit:
Sorry, I couldn't resist to say this:
"Skip it, I'm not intrested"
