Does anyone agree Bond 21 might not come nearly as soon as we bargained for?
While DIE ANOTHER DAY's box office performance obviously remains to be seen, it is nonetheless apparent that MGM is in less than rude health. It is also rumoured that DAD went wildly overbudget.
Could DAD help stall the Bond franchise the way LICENCE TO KILL is (rightly or wrongly) seen to have done? Will a wounded MGM think very carefully about greenlighting Bond 21? Will Bond 21 be too expensive to make at all?
How can we be in any way sure that Bond 21 will be with us in two or three years?
Could Bond 21 be many years away?

No offence dude, but do we really need another one of these threads ?
One would think that DAD would be at least moderately succesful, if not a major hit. And that Bond 21 would be made two or three years down the track, perhaps with a smaller budget, which may not be a bad thing.

I see your point. The discussion IS going on elsewhere, after all. Okay, why not delete it?
