I've never seen ONE episode of James Bond Jr, and I've just found a few full episodes on youtube.

What's sad is I'm barely two minutes into that episode and it's already shaping up to better than a lot of the cartoons I grew up watching, like that old Legend of Zelda show and Captain N (although it is fun to go back, both for lols and nostalgia).

It has been suggested that James Bond Jr. was sanctioned by Eon to counteract Kevin McClory's attempt to do his own animated Bond series at the time.

McClory was announcing around town that he wanted to do a "James Bond Vs SPECTRE" animated series, but of course like all announcements he made on various projects over the years it never materialised.

JBJ was awful. They turned him into a toff and put Oddjob into a shell suit. 007 seemed pretty irrelevant when this was released in the early 1990s. I am sure if they had released the same cartoon show today it would be a big hit.
