Anyone know if there's any Bond connections there this year?
They had the Aston martin there last year and there was some peripheral support for QoS...
For those who've never been Comic Con is a lot more than just comic book stuff, it's like a Woodstock for action/fantasy/horror/sci-fi film/tv/books and art...

Anybody know which Bond actors/actresses will be there signing autographs? I'd really like to know so that I know which DVD covers to bring. I like getting those signed.
EDIT: Trina Parks (Thumper, Diamonds Are Forever) will be in attendance.

You can usually find out quite a bit of info on the web site the week or so before;
If you need more, I will be there on weds and could post late weds night details from the program if that works for you (depending on what time you plan to leave on thursday)

maybe we should arrange a meet-up? dinner?

As for a meet-up, I'd definitely be up for one if we're able to schedule it around all the programming and networking. That's always the toughest part of Comic-Con meet-ups!

This might help... at least if it sounds interesting feel free to put your name on the list. Like it says admittance based on capacity though. I'm there by invite of EA Games so I will be there for sure. It's an after hours party on Thursday night: http://www.viceland.com/brutallegend/

Yeah I would love to meet up with anyone who wants to. I love meeting people from the forums, it's always interesting. Scheduling is the sticker. Is there anything specific that people are doing who are here on the forums? We could always try and meet up there? I'm just reading over the schedule for the panels now. Sunday is up too.

"Iron Man 2" Cast at Comic-Con
What better way to show off the fully loaded sequel to the wildly successful "Iron Man" than an appearance at Comic-Con. Strong man Mickey Rourke goes from "The Wrestler" to the villainous role of Whiplash. But Sam Rockwell will be working it as the gazillionaire rival to Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man). While we love the indie actor's work, our money's still on Robert Downey, Jr. "

So, whats everybody looking forward to?
I'm looking to be at the following panels
Female Power Icons in Pop Culture (Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana) ; Thursday (20)
Avatar (Jim Cameron et al) ; Thursday (H)
Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus (Terry Gilliam); Thursday (H)
Warner Bros (Sherlock Holmes, Jonah Hex etc); Friday (H)
Production Designers : Friday (30AB)
Visionaries (Jim Cameron, Peter Jackson) ; Friday (H)
Eastwick ; Saturday (6A)
Sony (Zombieland, 2012); Saturday (H)
Iron Man 2 ; Saturday (H)
Kevin Smith ; Saturday (H)
Watchmen screening; Saturday (6BCF)
As always a bunch of overlaps; I'd really like to see Ray Bradbury but he clashes with Iron Man 2...and theres a good looking TV Guide panel on Sci-Fi but that clashes with something else..
I'm really buzzed about the Watchmen screening and very excited about Avatar..
Kevin Smith is always a must see, if you're going to the con and have never seen him; dont miss it!
Whats everyone else looking forward to?
