I looked up the Wikipedia article on Casino Royale and on that page it stated the novel as having 213 pages. I just finished reading the Penguin paperback (it has an Ian Fleming Centenary logo on the front) that was 181 pages.
Did I somehow get an abridged version? Or is it merely a matter of using a smaller typeface and thusly having fewer pages?
Thanks in advance for answering for what I'm sure is a rather silly question.

Quick question about Casino Royale's page length.

I was about to suggest that 213 was the page count in the Jonathan Cape version, but mine has 218 pages - go figure.
