My opinion has only grown over time for Craig as Bond.

When he was announced as Bond, I wasn't sure about him. Brosnan was James Bond to me as he is what I consider "my generation's" James Bond and I think he deserved a 5th film, though I admit Die Another Day isn't exactly high on my list.

After first seeing Casino Royale I was impressed. He isn't as smooth or suave as previous Bonds, but his style fits the direction the series is going. With Quantum of Solace, which I quite enjoy it was the same thing. Many of the scenes in both films couldn't have been done by Brosnan. I wish they didn't take out all the humor though, I hope they add some for Bond 23.

He takes everything that I loved about Connery (the rugged, tough, truck-driver type looks combined with a nuclear power plant of sex appeal and the best style of the franchise as well as the way he just...tosses things; has anyone ever noticed this? It's awesome)

Yes, Craig is an expert tosser.

What? No really, I do enjoy the way he casually throws things away, starting with the car keys in CR to the hotel room key and bathroom handle in QOS. He somehow makes it look effortless and cool.

I've voted Approve. My opinion of him has stayed the same as I consider his performance in Quantum of Solace to be equally as good as in Casino Royale.

Seconded. To me, '23' could possibly be the make or break film. Time will tell.

Time for a new guy to say something I guess ( as well as revive a thread so it may... Die Another Day? Har. )

I approve of Daniel Craig since Quantum Of Solace ( After hearing so much bad about it, and finally catching it on television recently, I actually really liked it. Wish I had seen it in the theater ).

After Casino Royale I accepted him as James Bond. I loved the film, but I was not totally sold on the idea of Daniel playing the part -- which is no fault of his. He's a fantastic actor. I've seen him in many things, and loved them all. I just had a hard time shaking my pre-conceived image of James Bond ( You know, the dark haired guy with the scar and the comma -- somewhere in between Connery and Dalton ).

Quantum Of Solace actually changed that. Odd, huh? I really enjoyed watching Daniel in Quantum, and I can't wait to see what he will do in the next film ( Gunbarrel opening please! ).

Too bad my wife is still very bitter about Pierce's send off from the franchise. I can't get her to watch Quantum Of Solace, and she still can't accept Daniel in the part... Oh well.

Really? I like what Daniel Craig did with James Bond. I mean he kind of reminds me of Jason Bourne. It is more fight scenes and action based then using gadgets. I like that though. I am glad they are bringing back this young guy as Q. I am excited to see how he is in the role.

I have a pang of Connery guilt saying that Craig is the best ever. But he's the best because he's had stories with Bond character development, which is a first.

I'm sure if Connery had such stories he'd have been just as good if not better - perhaps if Connery had done OHMSS i'd have had good reason to vote otherwise. Connery did so much better with his material than us fans deserve, but Craig has had far superior material (as i said, only in terms of Bond's character development).

Give him a couple more movies, and I'll say yes. I still think Timothy Dalton is right now. OMO

It's probably time for the Daniel Craig Poll V, to be perfectly honest.

Insofar as it's ever time for the Daniel Craig Poll V.
