Whenever I watch OHMSS I always notice the Avon brand in the car race sequence. It was all over the place. Any ideas as to why? I take it Avon must have payed a lot of wonga to EON?

Corgi and BP advertised in the ice race as well. All 3 companies were promotional partners for the film.

Avon also held a contest to win trips to Jamaica and Switzerland, and the pamphlets and poster for the promotion were done with an old west style "REWARD" headline with a shot of Lazenby from the regular poster.

Do you have any of those in your collection or are there pictures of those anywhere online? I'd love to check those out just out of curiosity. I'll bet they are worth a bundle as well if you could even find them.

I have one in my collection, and I hope it IS worth a bomb.

Still haven't quite worked out how to post the actual image, rather than a link.

You're both welcome - I'm just glad that I knew roughly where to find it, only looked through two scrap books - and there are over 60 of them in my spare room.

No, they were Avon tyres - I was going to try and post the rest of the leaflet for you, but I didn't put it back in my scrap-book and now can't find it. B)

I work for the Brand and there is nothing in the archives about OHMSS. Thats why I asked you chaps. You chaps here know more than the actual company. Its a shame as I feel they are missing a trick.
