I have posted this fascinating insight into Bond, braodcast around 1991/2 time, about how LTK was marketed.
Gives info on how much money was spent etc etc
Features MGW giving insight into the world of Bond, when Dalton was still the man before GE really got going.

Great find. These are the types of things I find fascinating about not just Bond, but in film in general as I work in marketing as part of my job. It's the type of piece that wouldn't necessarily work on a DVD, but works fine on You Tube.

Interesting how MGW talks about how even 20 years ago marketing strategies were changing. It was leaps and bounds different by the time they were ready with GE.

The programme was about globalisation in general at the beginning of the nineties, hard to believe almost 20yrs on now.
It interest me when MGW says they tend to be conservative more than most with the amount of money they spend on marketing, and this could kind of reinforce some of the issues that came up on the LTK flopping thread.
Its also interesting because it shows clear intention (IMO) that Bond even in that six year hiatus was going to continue, possibly with Dalton.
