Ian,
Will we ever get the chance to see the Adam Raynar pilot that was filmed?

Apologies, thought I'd already answered this but I can't see my answer anywhere so maybe my computer ate it.
I'm fairly confident you will get to see Adam's pilot at some stage but I wouldn't like to say where or when yet. It cost too much to make to be left on the shelf and we've been assessing our options as to what can be done with it.

Make a series from it, perhaps?

Haha! According to multiple network chiefs no one would want to watch it!

That's a crying shame.
Especially since spy themed movies are making a resurgence of late, and there's quite a few spy related series on the box.
If there's no joy with the networks streaming (Netflicks, Amazon, etc) may be the go.

No forgiveness required.
In terms of the breadth and the numerous media platforms that his hero has been imagined, arguably, this author, Charteris, is more deserving than Fleming for review. The ultimate scope is far more wider reaching in terms of what has been a series of individual successes.
Charteris' hero has had his time favourably received across Film, TV, Radio, Book and Comic strip in the way that Fleming's hero has never been. Perhaps, Fleming's hero never needed the breadth after the film series' reception began and took its hold. But Charteris' hero was far wider reaching in its audiences, and far more deserving of inspection - in my humble opinion.
From a personal point of view, and from a purely literary position. both characters are interesting. But while the Saint has been 'everywhere' successfully, Bond's comic and radio successes has ridden the filmic coat tails, I think. None are more deserving than the other, but I do think that the Saint has had to live or die on its own medial merits, as opposed to riding coat tails.
I look forward to the book. It is way overdue. Well done to Ian D for taking this responsibility. His writing stance alone will evoke that which he is reviewing.
Good luck.

Does anyone know if any services are carrying it? Should be out now, no?
It's on iTunes and the Playstation store for £7.99. It's not terrible, it looks very slick and shiny and expensive but on the whole I was a little disappointed. If, like me, you're a fan of Roger's, I would say...

And what about Ogilvy? Is he still in it and how much?

Ogilvy plays one of the main characters and pops up throughout. I think he did well with what he was given.

Wow! Didn't expect that! I thought he had only a cameo too. Great to hear! Thanks for your explanation!
