Which version of DVD is this? In this clip Bond smashes him into the glass. I don't ever recall seeing that on my DVD. I have the North American version of Casino Royale so is this a European cut?

It's definately in the Region 2 version, and it was in the cinema, too, where I saw it.

So Le Chiffre just says, "You take good care of your body?" and they leave it at that? Doesn't that come off like he's interested in Bond?

It cuts right before the shot of Le Chiffre putting the rope over Bond's shoulder. It then picks up with Le Chiffre swinging the rope under his chair.

The shots I didn't remember seeing were:

- Bodyguard hitting the floor after tumbling over the rails

- Obanno smashing into the glass

- Obanno grabbing Vesper's foot

Thanks to this footage (as well as the other included), I now know that the stairwell was higher than two stories.

I don't know if someone noticed, but there's also a cut from the UK version and the American version, when Bond fights Dryden's contact. The uncut version has a kick on his face shot whilst other version I saw does not.

There's a very good German website, www.schnittberichte.com that does detailed reports on this kind of stuff. They have a comparsion between the PG-13 and the German FSK 12. It's, of course, in German, but time codes (and screencaps) are given, so it should be helpful: http://www.schnittbe...cht.php?ID=4011 (the cuts listed in bold are the ones missing from the German version).

I watched my new copy of CASINO ROYALE (DELUXE EDITION) last night, and without even having read this thread, all three of those shots immediately stood out to me as new. I must be more observant than I realised.
