Seriously, no - as Jim has said he wasn't Knighted so was not a "Sir".

This seems to be a pretty common error on the web, especially on blogs (big-journalists benefit from in-house fact-checkers), though not quite as common as spelling Fleming with two "m"s. Had Fleming lived longer he would have probably been offered a knighthood, though whether he'd have rejected it like Bond in TMWTGG is impossible to know.
