This may sound like a bull**** topic but ater seeing so many posts recentlyslagging off certain things (xXx comes to mind immediatly), it makes me wonder why certain words are censored and others are not. Wh is it the american version of is allowed (if I remember correctly) and yet the englih isn't? , ***. Then there are words like bastard that are allowed and others lke **** and bollocks (***** & b*!!*cks) might not be? It confuses me. admit some are less offensive than others but with Bnd attracting a more younger auience, I thought it might be a little more appropriate if the majority 'swear' / offensive words were censored other than ust certain words.

p.s. this isn' meant to sound like a dig at those involved in CBn's creation and maintainance! Sorry if it sounds like that.

The one that cracks me up (so to speak) is a certain word that rhymes with "nanny." In the U.S., it's a cute and very innocent nickname for the gluteus maximus, yet I understand that in the UK it refers to something on the other side. The first time that particular f-word got bleeped in one of my posts I thought a bunch of prudes had taken over CBn!

It's also the case in Australia, but when it is mentioned in a US TV show it's not censored.
