I suppose you all know what happened October 5th 40 years ago, don't you? Right, with Dr. No, fourty years of the best action in cinema history began.
Because of that, ARD and RTL, two of the biggest TV stations in Germany, air four James Bond movies.

You could have opened this thread on the German forum. Anyway, they are just saying Diamonds Are Forever is one of the best Bonds just so they can get viewers to tune in and thus, give them high ratings.

I don't know how things go in the US, but here in Germany you can consider yourself lucky if they air a Bond movie once or twice in a year.

This year obviously was a good one. Around 30 Bond movies including the Free TV Premiere of The World is not Enough

I heard it advertised last week on RPR 1 , my German is very bad and for some reason i thought that they were showing Bond festival at the Kino.
