Quantum of Solace

Rating: 85/100

Quantum of Solace was generaly a good film. The ators were good and appropriate for the role which they incarnated. The plot was a little confused for people who haven't seen and understood Casino Royale thing that is a disavantage for the film. The running time wasn't a worry at all because of the speed that the action was developing.

James Bond(Daniel Craig)

Daniel Craig prooved once more that he's going for the title of the "Best James Bond of all times". His abillity to match humour, fascinating action scenes and charm is brilliant. The emotional scenes which he had to cope with were very convincing and so were the action scenes. He knows how to drive a quick car and the scenes with M(Judi Dench)were also good. 20/20

Camille(Olga Kurylenko)

Olga Kurylenko wasn't the best choice for the very emotional and "heart-broken" and "revenge-asking" role of Camille. She could have efficiently dealed with the role of Dr. Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough, but she seemed lost in space in Quantum Of Solace. 6/10

Agent Fields(Gemma Arterton)

Gemma Arterton was a strong card that wasn't exploided properly. Her appearance and her acting skills were just perfect for the challenges of the role.
She should have played more and she shouldn't have died like Ms Masterson in Goldfinger(sacrilege). 10/10

M(Judi Dench)

Dame Judi Dench showed us how a so demanding role like M is played. She was very very good in every scene she got into. In the scenes with Daniel Craig she showed who's in charge. The only shortcoming, though, which I have to mention is the scene in which she gets ready for a bath and cleans up her make-up. This scne shouldn't be there. It weakened her character. 19/20

Dominic Greene(Mathieu Amalric)

Unfortunately we didn't have a strong villain in Quantum Of Solace, ingredient that is very crucial in a Bond film. Mathieu Amalric didn't come up to my expectations and wasn't very suitable for the role of a man that is one of the biggest members of an organisation like Quantum. His bodytype isn't suitable for the role and his behaviour doesn't certify him as a threat for Bond. 12/20

Locations

The locations shown in the film were stunning. Especially the ones in Europe were tremendous. Sienna was the best of them. Bolibia was so and so. The night scene in the desert was astonishing, but the day one in the end wasn't the best. Finally Moscow was really cool and so was London. 18/20
