I'm back from the cinema with the biggest smile on my face in years.

SOME SPOILERS AHEAD:

The opening with the chase was awesome beyond words, but needed more Aston action in my opinion, but anyway, awesome.

The titles were like 'ah yes.. the titles' even though I felt something like chill when the song started, I think that I was proud in some way.

Many action but in a good Bond way, never found a moment were I wanted to even turn around; perfect dialogue, with good timing for action. The only thing I felt on the surface was the plot, if someone who didn't see Casino Royale will be having a hard time understanding Quantum (exactly what happened to me tonight with a friend).

The thing about being a killing machine, come on, everything was on self-defence.

It dissapointed me the fact that Fields was so, so underused, she had SO MUCH potential and the 5 minutes she had were enought to make me fall in love with her.

Camille was SO awesome too, nice background story and tragic too, good she got her revenge. a bitch at the beginning but a sexy, well-intended bitch :(

Dominic Greene was awesome but his screams at the end were a bit weird.. anyway, awesome choice with Mathieu Amalric.

Mathis!!!!! that was like NOOOO! I almost cried when he was shot!!

The humour was awesome too! I loved when Mathis yelled SHUT UP! to the taxi driver, that killed me! the Bond - M relationship and in-jokes was indeed fabulous.

But the ending, the very ending was awesome, just three words were enough to make me chill 'I never left' and the love knot in the snow.. and then the gunbarrel which on-screen looks awesome.

Loved every damn single second of it, the Opera, the chase, drinking a Vesper.. and wait! did I see a tear on Bond when Mathis was dying?!

Now the few bad things.. there was absolutely no mention of OMEGA... and that's all. Even the 'shaken not stirred' and 'Bond James Bond' lines weren't essential for the whole action it has. but please bring them back for Bond 23 which I'm sure Mr. White will be the main boss of Quantum.

By the way, M said Greene was found with two shots whch means someone killed him.. am I correct?

Well ANYWAY!

9.5/10 :)

I just got back from QOS. I give it 8 out of 10 ... I thought the story and pacing was a lot better than CR. I took off 2 points because of the choppy action sequences ... if the car chase and the roof top chase were not edited to bits ... this would be a new gold standard to bond. The plane sequence was the best! Sooooo many cool bond moments and great drama! Some people cheered at the end of the movie and I overheard people saying 'too bad mathis is dead', 'I loved the movie' etc.
