Lol, I've written a long, long list somewhere on these forums before, that was the thing, there were just lots of little points I didn't like, though I will concede that they had good intentions. Off topic abit, and in danger of being attacked by the army of Broz fans we have here (you can't swing a cat without hitting one of them), here were a few things I didn't like about TWINE.
- Pretitle scene felt like two, boat chase is flat after first viewing, no ejector seat ?
- Title sequence is absolute vomit. And I'm not anti Klienman (or whatever his name is), I liked the GE titles.
- Song has grown on me a little, but it's still pretty dreary. Will we even have a good, clear, old fashioned Bondish title song again ?
- Speaking of drab and dreary, how about those miserable backdrops, loactions ?
- Not that it matters, since you never get the feeling you are actually at the location. Once upon a time teh location was a major element of the film, like Japan in YOLT, Bahamas in TB, or India in OP, I miss this.
- To much M, her kidnapping was pretty lame IMO, just didn't seem right.
- Broz is good, but fumbles with his one-liners
- Ski chase is boring, very poor when compared with major ski scenes in OHMSS and FYEO, even with the pretitle ones in TSWLM and AVTAK.
- Caviar factory scene, while the best action scene in the film (which isn't saying much), just wasn't needed, you could take it out and it wouldn't make a difference.
- All action scenes kind of suck actually, where are the innocent bystanders ? Like in the ski chase in FYEO or the chase in OP.
- Audience is given absolutley no credit. Bonds big "Huh" when Renard repeats Electras "feel alive" line is proof of this.
- Every second shot seems to be a close up, I don't always like that.
There are other little aspects I wont go into here, but that's the general gist of it. The story I actually liked, and the Bond/Electra/Renard love triangle thing, although overused and done mediocrly, was a good idea.
Oh yeah, and don't dismiss me as someone who just doesn't liek the new films for the sake of it, GE was great and so was TND for that matter.

-The ending scene on the submarine is horrible. Must be the worst scene in James Bond history...
-The actors? My god. Denise Richards as Dr Jones is bad. One of the worst Bond girls ever. She

Doubtless you are, but however flabby and drabby and drearly uniform and emotionally retarded TWINE might be, opinions about it don't have to be.

robert caryle wasnt the villian, he was a henchman, and i reckon he made a great henchman, something new and different
I myself see Renard and Electra both as major villains. But what different does it make if Renard is major villain or henchman, he is still a sort of villain, don
