- The background is black. Completely black.
- At the top of the poster is the following tagline, styled like this:
THIS NOVEMBER, ONE LITTLE WORD
WILL BRING THE SKIES CRASHING DOWN
- In the centre is the bottom half of a matryoshka doll.
- Sticking up from the centre of this doll is a bullet.
- Surrounding the doll-and-bullet are the crushed and broken remains of the outer dolls.
- The top half of the open doll is mostly undamaged, and the facial expression of the doll is slightly mocking.
- The 007 logo appears underneath, along with the release date.
Alternatively (and borrowing from Marketto007's last post a little), the doll-and-bullet with the crushed dolls are set before the London skyline. The top of the image is white, the buildings themselves have a blue filter, and everything under the doll is blood red (as if blood is flowing from the doll). Basically, the scene forms the Russian flag over London, with the doll-and-bullet in the centre.
I hope that's a clear enough description. I reckon it would look awesome.
I'm actually the one who came up with the tagline. There's a bit of a story behind it, too. When news first broke that BOND 23 might be called SKYFALL, I did a search for what it might mean. I got the usual "the sky is falling - go and tell the king" and Chicken Little, but in the middle of it all, I stumbled upon fiat justita ruat caelum, a legal term that translates as "justice must be done, even if it means the skies fall". Or, in simplified terms, "justice must be done, whatever the cost". Rather than this having anything to do with Bond, I thought it would be an interesting mantra for the villain to use. Most Bond villains are interested in either money (as is the case with Sanchez, Kananga and Kristatos), power (Elektra and Orlov) or fulfilling their own beliefs (Stromberg and Drax). We don't see too many motivations outside those (Scaramanga being the obvious exception). So I thought SKYFALL might centre around a villain who believes his actions are a necessary evil; "justice must be done, even if it means the skies fall" is his justification for doing what he does. And that's where the tagline - and my belief about what SKYFALL might be about - came from. Not really a fan of the tagline. I never thought of Bond as caring or going after justice.

What do you think?
P.S: I borrowed the bottom info from the great teasers a few pages back, it's just temporary.
P.S 2: The Craig pic is from one of the few set images, I just photoshoped it a bit (added eyes, his were closed) to make it more poster-ish.

Yeah, I'm working on them right now. Although to be fair, I always thought Craig's face looked scary on the CR box.So close but no cigar with the eyes my friend. They are truly horrifying.

It's unusable without eyes though, and the old Bond shots don't have the beard that Craig sports.Still scary, I'm afraid. Forget about transplanting Craig's eyes from another photo, it never works. Just go with the originals.
It looks like he's falling asleep.

Updated it a bit, how are the eyes, better or worse?
Don't try to add eyes. Swap out the head with one where Craig has his eyes open.

Nearly every poster you've posted on here has Craig stretched vertically; it's a bit disconcerting...Sorry?
