If there was no problems back in the early 90s after Licence To Kill at MGM/UA, would this have happen, that Dalton do two more Bond movies and then end his Bond movie making and in 1995 still be Brosnan's. Or could it hapepen this way that Dalton still stayed on to make more. Would some of the storylines for Brosnan's Bond movie have been used if there was a Bond movie in 1991 and 1993 or there would have been total different storylines all together. Could there have been a Casino Royale already or othere James Bond short story titles being the name of a movie?

By the way what was the problem at the time at MGM/UA with the CEO who was running the studio. I don't remember the whole thing, from what I do remember it has something to do with the CEO at the time, that is why there was no Bond movie till 1995.

Had there been no legal issues, I think Dalton would've probably done 2 more Bond films. I never saw him doing more than 4. The storylines would've been different as the scripts to Goldeneye, TND, etc. were not exactly Dalton scripts laying around. Dalton wouldn't have filmed CR as Eon only had 1/2 the rights at the time, with Sony/Columbia having the other 1/2.

Doesn't really matter anymore now. Daniel Craig is filling the Dalton shoes just nicely. Having said that, I will admit that I've always liked Dalton as Bond. Most people I know who have watched the Bond movies don't really like him, which is unfortunate because I think they're loaded with quality.

What was the legal issues at that time with the CEO who was running MGM/UA? Will when I said could some storylines for Brosnan's Bond movie have been used, what I meant was using it and making fit Dalton as Bond or the same ideas but done in a totally different way. What could have been the storylines for the 1991 and 1993 Bond movies?
