Could someone who has seen the film say if the titles are the same style or similar?

Well since I couldn't find a thread on it, anyone want to praise/criticize the titles? When done right, they're one of my favourite Bond traditions. Plus I don't mind the song, so my hopes are high!

To each his own, but I thought they were crappy. Didn't like the graphism. The sandy silhouettes were a cool idea, but I could have done without the ugly vectorial graphics.

I think the film is one of the very best but I didn't like the titles. They look like they belong in a computer game. Very cheap looking graphics of repetitive girls(good to have them back but not like this) made from sand. I did like how the credits were written, but the sequence was generally poor and I don't understand why they replaced Kleinman.

I don't understand why they replaced Kleinman.

Becuase Forster has worked with MK12 before, and knew what they could do. EON obviously agreed with him.

I think this is actually marginally better than the movie titles. The Coke Zero advert was better too. I think they should have used more images of Bond fighting, driving the Aston Martin etc.

For the first half of the movie titles, nothing much happens.

I really like the title seq. Very 70's retro feel, a nice advance from the CR titles. Great images and the title designs were very cool.

not for me to post links to copyrighted material, but for those of you yet to see the main titles, you could always try searching for "Quantum Of Solace title sequence" in youtube :(

I liked the titles. Very cool. I can't put my finger on it, but there was just something to them. Maybe it was overall style and how Craig was inserted into the titles. Very much like Roger in a few of his movie titles or Craig in 'Casino Royale'. It certainly made him look cool. Also the girls were well used, not being there just for a 'nipple shot' seen in 'Octopussy' to name a few. I liked how the girls were these huge giants that rose from the depths of the Sandy dunes :)

I also like Bond's travel through the dunes and the muzak that accompanied him :(

I think the QoS title sequence is great. The opening certainly is, a shimmering, rippling mirage type image with a silhouetted Craig standing in front of a glowing sun. When he fires the gun accompanied by the peaking sound of AWTD, it’s just perfect.

The backdrop of colours and the font selection work very well together. The song isn’t bad either, definitely not the worst in the series.

The way in which this sequence ends, with a close-up of Bond’s hands holding a PPK, firing it in slow motion – terrific. I like the CR sequence a tad better, but I do rank this effort highly.
