Medrano is shot by Camille, the Chief of Police is shot by Bond, and I'm not really sure about Lieutenant Orso (who does absolutely nothing of use in the whole film), although he is probably blown up in the Perla de las Dunas garage.
Interesting. I had been thinking that Medrano should have had a more horrific demise given the nature of his character and that they're fighting in rapidly burning building. Could have been something along the lines of Sanchez. But Greene's end more than makes up for it!

Do we know that for a fact, or is that based on the review from IMDB by 'YOLT'?I was disappointed with Greene's demise - a deleted scene had a helicopter saving Greene from the desert - I think this would have been a better outcome - which would have left it open to whether they wanted Greene to return in a future film.

Greene's demise is one of the best of any Bond villain in concept I think. I'll dying to see the execution of it, so to speak.
It is a good scene and a good concept of a death. I'm afraid that I had no idea what the can threw at him was, but luckily M explains that for us later.
It's really one of the nastiest things Bond has ever done.

Or at least that's what i've been told.

Possibly from that YOLT character. However, if there was a deleed scene that involved a helicopter, it was probably the helicopter coming to kill Greene, but it would cut before he was killed to look like he was being saved. We'd either be told later in QUANTUM OF SOLACE that he was actually shot, or they'd carry it over to BOND 23.Do we know that for a fact, or is that based on the review from IMDB by 'YOLT'?I was disappointed with Greene's demise - a deleted scene had a helicopter saving Greene from the desert - I think this would have been a better outcome - which would have left it open to whether they wanted Greene to return in a future film.

Yeah, though I think it is better implied Quantum agents did it. It creates more mystery, and having Greene resort to drinking oil on his own part is just the ultimate revenge. It would be interesting if Bond went back and did the deed himself, whilst forcing him to drink the Oil.

A dark move by Bond, but at least he didn't kill him with his own hands.
And yes...Quantum are still out there hence the bullets in the head.
Is there a Quantum connection with colour? Or is this a coincidence...Mr.White, Mr.Greene...who's next?!

It was a theory among fans during production. There's also a Mr. Slate (slate = +/- greyish). Hopefully, it's just a coincidence. I wouldn't like a colour codename theory.

It's more then a theroy. The actor who plays Slate said on his Myspace blog the chartacter he played was named Mr. Black before it was changed to Slate and Dominic Greene was "Maurice Greene" at one point so I think there was something more to it then speculation.

This of course is for me why Quantum fails to deliver, the enemy is not so threatening. So for me Kamal Khan is no longer the weakest of the 007 villians!

Weakest bond villain=Georgi KoskovI thought that Greene was one of the worst 007 baddies, totally without menace or presence.Same to be said of the henchmen who look & act like failed nighclub bouncers.Mr White come across as the most sinister person in the movie. For goodness sake Strawberry Fields does more harm to the henchman that 007,at least she puts him in a neckbrace!!
