According to HMV's site, the 40th Anniversary Edition of "The Best of Bond... James Bond" will be released in Australia October 14th.

Well, the CD's good for fans who already haven't got such a thing. I just wish they'd get the message and re-release the old soundtracks as double cd's!

yeah, it's a pity that it will only come out as a single cd, which means a lot of good songs from the past are missing (e.g. Under the Mango tree)

I got a "best of bond" during the release of TWINE, so i wont be getting this new one.

I got the first one too, and I'm disappointed at the lack of new content on this CD.

That said, I'm buying it for the Parodi/Fair and Moby versions of the James Bond theme.

i lost my cd of bond tunes when i moved so i might actually get this, or i might just be cheap and make a burnt copy. better check my bank account.
