Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher paid tribute to James Bond actor Daniel Craig during the band's performance in London last night (October 26th).

Craig was one of a host of celebrities who watched the group as they closed the BBC Electric Proms at Camden's Roundhouse.

As Gallagher pointed out famous faces in the audience, he made special note of Craig, whose second outing as Bond is released in cinemas this week.

"James Bond is upstairs, I might see if I can blag it so that he can get me the next James Bond theme tune instead of :(ing dopey Americans doing it all the time,” he said.

The guitarist later pointed out comedian Russell Brand to the audience, which drew chants of 'Who are you?'

"Russell will have been up there tonight trying to wangle some introduction to James Bond so he can become some effeminate James Bond baddie,"Gallagher told the audience.

Oasis were joined by the Crouch End Chorus choir for six songs of their performance, which fused old classic with tracks from their new album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.

You can actually watch the Electric Proms on BBC iPlayer. Craig's appearance can be seen around the 26 min 20 second mark.

Someone put on youtube this, please.

I can't see the video in the BBC site, because I'm not in the UK.
