The Man With The Red Tattoo seems the most blatant Flemingizing of a non-Fleming Bond book.


Yeah, a friend of mine called that 'The Man with the Colourful Noun'; there's practically no effort at all gone into it. Might as well call it 'Finger Your Eyes With Love'.

By Royal Command seems like it's directly channeling OHMSS.


Again, as you say: a bit too similar for comfort. Plus it sort of looks unbalanced as a set of words if you're taking them as shapes (a bit of an odd thing to say, but you may get my meaning- it doesn't look great when written down).
