I saw him plenty, heard him talk, had him next to me many times, but I never talked to him....I talked to Taubman only...Giannini and Forster I kinda met, we didn't shake hands, but I tagged along to go meet both, I didn't do any talking, since the reason of the going-over' s was the nationality they shared, I had an italian friend, and a swiss friend....Taubman was just insane, he talked to me b/c we were next to each other on a scene...

LOL....I will tell you, the guy is way focused on his job, in between scenes the man is talking to either Forster or Lerner, or looking at the dailies....

there are 2 rumors that never went away on the set though....one had the first cab driver, not the one who made it into the film, asking for his autograph and getting fired for it, which I found ironic, since this other girl bypassed security while they were on a break and got an autograph and came back to show off...she wasn't booted off the set, but the crew was very adamant about taking pics, asking for autographs, etc...you had to be so very careful to snap some good shots....I was talking to Hefferman, the extras director, and he told me that DC was a true gentleman, and treated everyone with decency and respect, so if anyone says anything bad about him, I tell you it's a lie

I also want to add that on Feb.11, at around 6pm, we were all on a break from basically shooting most of the day,(that night of the eleventh we would shoot the scene that you have seen, where bond and camille walk inside the Grand Andean), the main cast retired for some time, while they brought Forster 2 beetles, and parked them diagonally right next to one another in front of the hotel....Forster was looking at them, taking notes...at the time I had no idea what they were for....on the 12th I got to see their purpose.... that was pretty cool

And as much as I love Craig, can you imagine Rog delivering the line "Then we have all night"

Er...is that actually Judi Dench speaking at the beginning? I think they got someone else in to say the line with "person" instead of "bastard". The voice doesn't sound quite right.

,,,,,that's what I recall right now out of the top of my head, but the man talks a lot, and he was almost late for "ACTION" most of the time.....it would go like this:


ROLLING ..SOUND (Taubman missing) ....WE ARE ROLLING (Taubman missing)....BACKGROUND (Taubman comes running in).....AND ACTION.....
