I confess, I had my misgivings. In my defence, I'd have had misgivings about just about anyone. But Casino Royale is a film that just gets better with every viewing.

Daniel Craig may not look like Bond; but he acts like Bond. And that is by far more important.

First viewing - I thought it was either the best Bond film I'd seen, or at least one of them. It had its weaker moments.
Second viewing - the weak points didn't seem so important, and the action was mindblowing.
Third viewing - utterly hooked. Can't get enough of it.

I can't wait for Quantum of Solace. I don't understand the criticism of Craig; his portrayal of Bond is amazing.
