Forgive me if this is in the wrong spot, but I'm not sure where else to put it. I was planning on making a trip to London in time for QoS's arrival. Is anyone else making such plans?

Ah well that's okay lads. Oddly enough, my half sister (from my mother's 1st marriage) has a half brother (my sister's father's second marriage.) who is stationed at an RAF base hour and half or so outside London. He's lonesome and agreed to pal around with me so I won't be all alone. Wish I could see you guys, but ah well, another time!

I'm still not sure which dates I'm going, kinda of up in the air. Thanks for getting back to me. That means a lot!

I am in London from 29th Oct to 1st November,... and watching QOS at Odeon cinema, Leicester Sq.- attending the screening on Oct. 31st at 03:40 pm (Royale Circle)

2 years ago I ve had an memorable short time with Dunph, Dave & Stromberg!!! Don't wanna miss you there this year guys!!! Let's continue with this fan tradition guys! What do you say? Who is coming as well?!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and going through a "certain" source who owes me, but people can only do what they can.

For me, it literally has to be "Everything or NOTHING". If I'm not going to be walking the red carpet at the big event, I'm not going to bother. I'd love to pop over and meet up with those attending, but I'm REALLY hoping my scheme plays out.

Can anyone on CBn provide me with some much needed info?

I plan to book tickets for the film's first public screening at the Odeon West End on 29th Oct as part of the LFF, but WHEN exactly is the film's world premiere? ie. is it earlier that day?

I've a feeling it'll be Odeon Leicester square as that's where premieres tend to be held in London, although films that receive their world premiere there are typically held on a sunday/monday.

It would be fun to attend the premiere (to spot celebs and film stars!!) and then to see the first public screening.

I'd appreciate it if anyone had info on when the official premiere would be.

The premiere is at the Odeon Leicester Square on the same day, although the film is scheduled to start about half an hour earlier at 8pm.

Guests are likely to start appearing from about 6pm as there is usually a big event in the gardens in the centre of the square, although if you want a good view you will need to be there a lot earlier. If you want a 'ringside' spot to get autographs etc. you'll need to be there earlier still, probably in the early morning

ermm, yes you're right. The LFT starts at 20.15, and I've been told its about half an hour after the main premiere starting so I should have said 19.45 in above post

I believe a good number of CBn'ers will be in London that week.

I myself will be there Oct 29 - Nov 1 as well and hope to meet up with other fans. We'll be standing at the red carpet on Oct 29, that's for sure! I'm not sure yet whether I could get my hands on a ticket to the midnight public screening, but if I don't, I'll surely be there on the 31st (hell, I'll probably be there anyway for a second viewing!).

I believe Athena, Dave, Greg, Dunph, and ACE will be among the people wandering around.

i've phoned the BFI box office & can confirm that tickets have sold out to BFI members, although was told that they sometimes have some returns the next day. they also have "standby" tickets that can be bought from the venue up to 30mins before the screening.

i'm not a BFI member but i'm determined to get hold of some tickets!! anyone else who's not a member of the BFI but is planning to go?

Hi all,

a group of german Bondfans will be also there from the 29th October till 2nd November.
That`s Oliver Bayan, Markus Grieb and me, and we are joining Invicible1958, who will be there from the beginning of the week.
We will also going into QOS on Friday 31st at the Odeon Leicester Square 10 am (Royal Circle).

I didn`t ask for myself. A good friend of mine was unsure about the Title "Premiere Tuesday" in your Mail about this evening. And i asked for him.
I know that, at this Evening (one night before the Premiere), the Preparations are starting for this great Day.
We will land in London on wednesday early morning and i am sure that the first way, will be to the Leicester Square.
I was really surprised and shocked two weeks ago, when i saw, that the Switzerland Building was gone.

I'm definitely standing at the premier, arriving early to beat the crowds, and I'll be around the surrounding days too.

Hey guys, I'm heading over for the premiere as well and I've tickets for the public performance in the Odeon West End at 8.15pm. I'm just wondering where the best place is to stand for the premiere if you're lookoing for autographs. I've been to prem's before in Leicester Square and standing just outside the Radisson Hotel where the cars usually pull up is a great spot but I've heard that at the CR premiere the stars only signed inside the Square itself (inside the gated area). Any truth to that?

Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there; anyone I see, I'll ask if they're on the board.
