I honestly have no idea about the lifespan of Parrots so I couldn't tell you.

So after about 14 years of being a bond fan i never knew until recently that Max the parrot from FYEO & the parrot in TLD was the exact same bird. Being a Max the parrot fan i found this to be pretty awesome. So knowing that parrots can live a very long time does anyone know if this little guy is still alive or has he joined the afterlife?
I remember reading that a long time ago but I had recently forgotten about it. Thanks for the refresher.

He audition for the part in: "Toucan Sam: The real Froot Loop" but was turned down if I believe. Not sure what he's doing now.

His owner was one of the first contestants on the UK version of Deal or No Deal, bizarrely enough.

I am a big fan of Max the Parrot, although I think he was badly let down when it came to scripts.
I'd love to see him in a darker, edgier Bond, possibly filmed in black and white when he can get a bit more involved in the action. Perhaps include some sort of backstory revealing that his parents were killed outside an opera house, and he was brought up by sewer rats, never seeing the daylight until it was time to leave the sewer, having been trained up - ready to battle criminal masterminds.

I want to see Blofeld's cat backstory with co-stars including the parrot and Sanchez's iguana !
Agreed. They all know each other! That's a movie in itself.

Ah, the parrot. John Glen's signal to the audience that "c'mon everyone, this is a serious Bond movie for a change." Incidentally, the only stronger indication of such a tone is an iguana.
Hey,i found Max the parrot being the way that Bond found where Kristatos was was a very down to earth way of going with the story that went along with the down to earth feel of FYEO.
Ps. I believe the Parrots real name is Crone(Not sure of the proper spelling)
If Max could be added to Bonds favorite allies on the dossier page he'd be my choice.
On a serious note i really am a fan of Max the parrot.I know he gets alot of hate but i'm glad to hear that he's still up & about.

I wonder if he will make a comeback in SPECTRE?

I hope not for his sake. There's a risk he'd become a source of food for that cat! And then, we'll, he'd be an ex-parrot. He will have ceased to be, Bereft of life, he's gone to join the choir invisible, unable to go "zoom!!!" if you shoved three million volts through him from one of Blofeld's electric chairs!
