I'm just wondering if we will ever see a TRUE femme fatale in the series again. I don't mean like a power crazed woman like Electra King or a treasonous betrayer like Vesper Lynd. I'm talking about a truly mad, likes-to-kill people, insane woman like Fionna Volpe or Xenia Onatopp or even May Day. I was watching Live Free or Die Hard the other night and I thought Maggie Q was a pretty good femme fatale and I began to wonder if we would ever see this type of enemy for Bond again. Any thoughts?

I'd rather have a well-written female character of any kind before we fell back into the routine of a femme fatale again.

That she did, Xenia was excellent as well. Though a double agent, Miranda Frost, my favourite, was deliciously bad, too.

Femme Fatales usually provide a kind of naughty sexiness that the goody-two-shoes Bond girls don't - so yeah, I'm all for it.

Yes. I'm all for this aswell. I love all the Femme Fatales in the Bond movies. I would gladly welcome another one.

Completely agreed. Fiona Volpe is one of the best characters in the entire series if you ask me.

You're forgetting the unbelievably sexy Irma Bunt .

Anyway, I'll be happy to see a femme fatale again soon but I'd want her to be as well-written and played as Fiona Volpe, not a badly-written and played one. The Moore and Dalton eras underdid them while the Bronsan era tended to overdo them. I want Craig to have one who is worthy of his talents.

I want a main villianess in the vein of Irma Bunt or Rosa Klebb but if I had to choose a Fem Fatale, one like Fiona Valope would be great. I always equate here to a deadly flower.

I dont no and really dont care if there was a killer femme fatal or not she just has to be very good looking. But, thats just me.
