I love this movie so much, I am seeing it with great excitement for the third time - showing it, bit by bit, to my old father, who is 90 this month - he hates Bond, I have to force him to watch it. But he's enjoying this one. That's how good this movie is. But what the hell does Vesper say, in the shower? I looked it up on screenplay - doesn't seem that's it. Is it a reference to washing off the blood, like Macbeth, lady-type, and she can't? Or, something about the lions, as in original book?

Last year, while our own Admiral himself was visiting, CR was running non-stop on my DVD player. Sitting about one morning he said "Why is this just the perfect Bond movie?".

I thought for a moment and responded with "Because Bond isn't perfect....Yet."

With the reboot, we're all still waiting for him to become the smooth operator we all know.

Connery was much the same in Dr. No.

I thought I might as well post this, giving a good reason to revive this thread for some of the newer members.

Here's a trailer I threw together a few days ago...
(Watch in HD)

The quality of my videos has improved greatly, using Sony Vegas.

Thank you Harkers - BTW, as a guy who makes his living editing - and certainly no expert - you've really got the chops lad and I too am a fan of Sony Vegas. It's like what Avid was back in the day.

Good stuff. B)

Brilliant, Hark! I love the little pun you put in there:

"Is the man deranged?"
"Yes... considerably."

I enjoyed it as well, my only suggestion would be to end it on Mathis line of "I think our odds are improving." Seemed like a great little line to go out on.

Otherwise great work B)

Thanks.

Mathis' line there was planned very early on. Considering Bond was getting his balls whacked, and then the next part of the trailer showed flash frames of him and Vesper having a good time, makes the line "I think your odds are improving, Mr Bond" appropriate and since the next part of the trailer shows Bond in action and in total control, adds to the significance of thr line.
