I really liked Carey Lowell in LTK. One of the sexiest Bond girls IMO. I thought her role was perfect in being a "capable" Bond girl who could hold her own while not upstaging Bond. I liked the fact that the writers didn't feel a need to put her in some contrived trap where Bond had to come save her.

My favorite parts involving her character:

-When she first sees Bond at Felix's house

-Helping Bond out in Crest's boat

-Pulling a gun on Professor Joe

I think Carey Lowell is a terrible actress and I didn't care much about her character.

Oh, yes, she looked great in that scene!!

Yes, I liked her a lot, she was a good Bond girl. I also enjoyed her comments on the role in the documentary "Bond Girls are Forever".

She was (still is last time I checked) very attractive, and as Pam she was great fun to watch in action. One of those little things I love most about her character is how excited she got when she saw Bond's suitcase full of millions, and then when Bond started winning big in blackjack. Definitely among the best "girl power" Bond girls, possibly second only to Wai Lin in that regard.

She pales in comparison to Talisa Soto in Licence to Kill, but I like where she kept her gun - I can't remember whether she dressed to the left or to the right.

Left leg.

I also love the scene where she gets annoyed that Bond spent the night with Lupe!

I thought that she was a great Bond girl, right up there with Eva Green, Diana Rigg, and Ursula Andress in my opinion.

I agree totally on both counts. The scene where she rips her dress to get the gun is what makes her as a Bond girl in my view - other than that she did very little for me. A perennial problem with the Bond films: how to cast ladies who can look like the can handle themselves in a fight but still be stunning and sexy etc. (I'm not sure they ever succeeded - apart maybe from Wai Lin, but she sort of falls short on the hot stakes IMHO).

She's one of my favorites, actually - Beautiful, intelligent self reliant, tough yet vulnerable. When it comes to "modern" Bond women, Lowell still feels like one of the most natural and unforced.

Love her look when she introduces herself as "Ms. Kennedy, Mr. Bond's executive secretary."

Let's hope Olga Kurylenko will be the one  She looks convincing in the few stunt scene involving her I've seen.

I've always rated highly. Resourceful, tough and a good ally for Bond. In addition Carey Lowell acts the part well and is damn attractive if you ask me.

Dull and un-sexy. She just couldn’t pull off the ‘touch’ façade.

She was better and looked better on ‘Law & Order’.

For my money, she's probably the best Bond leading lady of the 80s (with the possible exception of Maud Adams' Octopussy). Admittedly, the competition isn't fierce (after all, Melina had a five o'clock shadow, while with Stacey they didn't so much scrape the barrel as burrow deeply beneath it.)

Carey Lowell scored for me because she's a good actress; she has a good sense of humour which comes over well onscreen; and she has genuine chemistry with Tim Dalton.

Good point about the 80s Bond girls - there weren't any that would make my top five or even top 15.

Boooooooorrrrrring. She was Tim's Chiles.

Though Lowell blows away Chiles off-screen from what I've seen. Much more interesting.

I liked Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier. But I found the character annoying at times. I got tired of her insisting that she was a professional whenever Bond tried to hold her back. Why couldn't she simply ignore him and show him what she could do?

I liked Lowell a lot (despite the annoying character) and I'm a major fan of both Carole Bouquet and Maryam D'Abo.

She is one of those few women who look better with shorter hair.

And she still has the shorter hairstyle now.
