Recently got a copy of the UK Devil May Care signed by cover model Tuuli Shipster in the mail. Glad it came with a protective cover as it looks like her signature (which is actually on the cover of the book rather than inside it) could wipe off over time.

To those who took part/were in attendance for some of the festivities on the launch day, are there any guesses as to how many copies she signed? I'm just curious from a collecting point of view as I've seen a few listed on eBay for fairly reasonable rates (lower than the 1500 signed by Faulks in any event!).

As far as I know she only did one signing event at Borders on Oxford Street. She signed their stock (yes, on the cover, which is cool), but when I went there a few days after the event there were only a handful of signed copies left. Maybe 10.

Gotcha - thanks, zen. I imagine that can't have been a huge amount of copies then.

Think it was about $55 or so.
