I'm annoyed because i have work from 12-7 i have a feeling the trailer will be released at 1230 and taken off the internet 630 so u all will see it and i shall not.

I'm sure that loads of people will upload it as soon as it appears in full. You'll see it eventually anyway.

I've been refreshing this page for the past 8 hours. The very first video is really starting to annoy me, it doesn't even have nothing to do with Bond!

We won't see it today. I think it shows how far the interest goes toward this second Craig outing. One of my lucky friend is seeing today the promo footage thought, so i'll look forward to the report, hoping it's good.

I think we may be taking this to levels of extreme;). Certainly no one owes us anything, I'm just surprised there weren't 20 people uploading various copies of the same video file like there usually seems to be. I have no problem waiting until next week, I had just assumed when I went to sleep last night that I would wake up to some refreshing Quantum clips.

Well, it will be as fun as the backlash when Craig was first signed, but quite frankly if 8 hours after airing a 30s excerpt on national TV, no footage is uploaded by anyone anywhere, it must mean that maybe people don't care about this follow up that much (I'm sad to say, I expect it'll top CR) but so far none of the behind the scenes convinced me of this, and since the footage is still elusive I'm still not convinced either by the trailer that no one want us to see so late in the game.
Plus remember, no poker in the new movie = much less non-fan bums on seats. Last one succeeded because it was the right movie at the right time. This one, the trailer comes in too late, as I said before, and it seems in all senses of the way. On monday, the whole world will be on holiday thus off the web (which many browse at work). Talk about stupid viral marketing. Whose in charge, T.U.R.T.L.E. INC. ?

First, there are some clips of Quantum of Solace on a program this morning and no one was able to record it

Then, in less than three hours we'll play against Russia to get to the Euro final, so I'm also very nervous.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Nobody flocked to see CR because of the poker, it was because it was a James Bond film. And the Craig backlash only increased curiosity. Everyone I know was impressed with Casino Royale and intends to see QoS. We're Bond fans, we're the only people who are going to jump on this trailer anyway. CR's trailer only really excited the fans. Its the week leading up to the film that grabs the masses. Just you wait.

I don't think the fact that it's not online yet has anything to do with the quality of the footage. Keeping in mind, there are actually a fairly small number of us in the world who WOULD do something like watch BBC breakfast just to record and post it as quickly as possible. Also, this marketing plan tends to make a lot of sense - remember, trailer 'on the internet' is not really so much a priority as getting it in front of Hancock. The trailer is scheduled to go live Monday - EON marketing has no reason to release it any earlier. Frankly, I was downright surprised when it was revealed that shows like BBC Breakfast and ET were going to be airing 'exclusive' looks which may or may not be the trailer at the end of this week.

Whether the trailer shows up on June 28th or 30th or July 1st is, I think, quite irrelevant in terms of the larger picture.

That being said...I still want to see it:).

Poker? Are you joking? Poker was the key to CR's success? I don't think so.

At the time this footage was shown, most people were at work. Very few of those would be Bond fans, even less would be recording it, and even less of those would belong to a Bond forum on the web AND be able to put the footage on their computer. It doesn't mean anything.

You betcha poker was one of the essential ingredients in CR success ! Just how many people watch TV Poker channels it's mind boggling, and it's why this was chosen as the game of preference in CR over Baccarat.

I am bloody anxious to see this... all Bond fans should be! Once the footage is released, then we can relax. It's just been a very stressfull day thats all... I've spent just about 9 hours on this thread, hoping and praying that this footage which has only been seen by one person will surface on the net. Then I find out that two of my relatives who reguarly watch BBC Breakfast did not see anything of the sort. I just dont know what to believe anymore. When the trailer surfaces and the footage is presented in its enirety, then I will share that sentiment.

Read this link from Coming Soon.com that identifies a source from Columbia that states television and on-line footage of QoS will occur Monday. I wonder if the BBC and others might have "jumped the gun" by showing footage and have been warned to not post links at the threat of legal action?

QUANTUM OF SOLACE is just a movie.

It's not. it's a JAMES BOND 007 movie, following CR, which was a well made JAMES BOND 007 movie for the first time in over 37 years. Expectations are high (but marketing a real low). In fact marketing sucks totally because we should have had the official release for the week end. Shows they don't care about us (or that the guy in charge should be fired and replaced by me).
