A couple of terrific John Gardner audio interviews can be listened to here:

The 1985 interview is a real kick. Not only does Gardner mention the title of Bond 6 as "Tomorrow Always Comes" (later retitled No Deals Mr. Bond), but he and the host got way off topic and just juts talking about their computers. They are both Mac (er, I mean, "Macintosh") fans.

Just saw this and listened to them today. It is not only ineresting that Garner mentions the title of NDMB to be "Tomorrow Always Comes" as zencat stated, but also that he wrote Bond with political thoughts and was asked to change it. He said that M can have thoughts on politics but not Bond because it would devide readers.
Personally, I think Bond could have political thoughts but he shouldn't say them out loud in the stories.

Just come across this. Thanks a lot. First audio interview I've ever heard of my favorite author.
