Some games (not Bond games in general) have cutscenes [in-game videos] that can be skipped while some cannot. Which ones do you like?
I personally like the ones where you can skip it, because when you play a game and fail a part, you have to replay it and suffer through viewing the cutscene again (BATMAN BEGINS for example)
What about you?

I don't play video games anymore but I used to like being able to skip a cutscene if I had already seen it a few times. However, I enjoyed some cutscenes so much that I never wanted to skip them. For example, the scene in NightFire where Bond rolls off the roof. That was awesome! I also enjoyed the PTS in Everything or Nothing.

The hard thing with cutscenes is how to know which ones will get annoying after you've died 3000 times. So, I would have to say skip them--not always, not even mostly, but they will get in the way of fast play if you die and want to get right back into the action.

They should make them all skippable after the first viewing.

I agree. They do when you want to see what happens after that part quickly. So, I would have to say skip them--not always, not even mostly, but they will get in the way of fast play if you die and want to get right back into the action.

I agree with the logic of Mr. *. I feel that cutscenes should be able to be skipped after the first viewing. It makes you feel more like you are watching a movie.

Also, there are some games (the metal gear series) that you can really get lost if you skip a cutscene. Lemme give you an example. I was recently playing the original MGS, and was skipping all of the cutscenes, when suddenly I get a codec call from Meryl telling me to call Hal Emmerich (AKA Otacon.) So I whipped out the instruction book (I have the Collectors edition) and went to the page that had all of the Codec frequencies when I noticed Otacon's isn't on there. Fortunately, I remembered what it was for MGS2 so I tried it, and got an answer. SO if you haven't played a game in a while, I wouldn't recommend skipping if your memory is like mine (a leaky sieve on a good day). Now for games like the Call of Duty series, I'd skip them if I could. Especially when you get killed 380 million times.
