This morning, as a tribute to Ian Fleming, Channel 9's Today show featured segments on James Bond including their declaration that the Goldeneye Tank Chase was the best Bond chase scene ever and also Richard Wilkins doing an impression of 007.

Somehow i'm very happy to have missed it.
Richard Wilkins, the master of the fake tan and big smile, is truly one of the most talentless people on TV.

Yes, only Channel 9 can celebrate the release of a new Bond NOVEL by playing clips of the Bond MOVIES.
And I'm so sick of Australian celebrities pretending to be James Bond (I'm talking about you, Sam Newman). It's a good thing he's been sacked from The Footy Show (admit it) because I was getting very annoyed that they keep playing Monty Norman's James Bond Theme when he was introduced on the show each week.
I know I have a lot of gripes. I must be getting old.

He hasn't been sacked. He's been given leave for a few weeks to 'get himself together'.
