I just went to my local Target (Kentucky) and they had Devil May Care as well. Seems like this is a nationwide Target screw-up? I checked Wal-Mart and they didn't have it out yet.

It's kind of a shame, in a way, since they went through that big "ceremony" in London delivering the first seven books when you can go to any Target in America (apparently) and get it the day before.

I was very tempted to stop on the way home. But I like the idea of picking up the book on the day. Something about the ceremoniousness of it appeals to me. So I gritted my teeth and gave Target a miss. (Yes, unlike Bond, I missed my Target.) But tomorrow for sure!

I don't even shop at Target, but I don't think I'd get it anyway. I don't get paid until Friday, and I've already ordered it through my local Waldenbooks, and it's already in. It would be disloyal to go elsewhere.

Same here, got a note yesterday that DMC and the latest Young Bond (Double or Die?) were shipped, so I hope to find a parcel when I get home tomorrow!

Just picked one up at Target myself. They had three of them on the endcap, can't miss 'em. I am amused to have a receipt showing I bought it one day before the centenary!

Wish Amazon would hurry up and ship mine! (Along with the Hurricane Gold paperback and The Moneypenny Diaries: Final Fling.)

Serves me right for insisting upon having the UK editions!

I just got my copy in the mail from Amazon!

I thought I would receive my copy from Amazon today since they sent a note that it shipped out from nearby Cincinati Monday afternoon. The last update was at 10:40 last night it was at the USPS in Cincy. This could take a while...

Got it earlier today at Barnes & Nobel. They were sitting on a display right in front of the door. Going to start it as soon as I finish The Moneypenny Diaries, only about 100 pages left.

I started this one this week as well, but I jumped ship the minute "Devil May Care" showed up

Mine left Philly Sunday morning & has been in transit since. Thought for sure it would be here today. I guess that 100 miles from Philly is a lot farther that I thought. I did stop by a local Barnes & Noble. They had about 15 books out. No display, they were just sitting in the new books section. I did pick-up the audio book so I might need to fire that up to hold me over until the book arrives. :(

Maybe we'll hit the Amazon jackpot tomorrow, Professor. Cincy is about 100 miles from me also, who knows what kind of postage they saved for our books to not be delivered 100 miles in several days!

Got my copy earlier today as well at Barnes & Noble. It was located in the front of the Just Arrived section in the back third of the store. Initial opinion is that the book cover looks good.
