It seems that educated guesses about the book being about the drugs trade and being set in the Middle East were correct. Plus we find out that the book opens in France and contains 'Indo Chinese torture', a duplicitous girl and a disfigured villain. All present and correct there!
Love the bit where we hear of difficulties he had getting into Bond's mind:
