Apparently, the french title of QUANTUM OF SOLACE will be... QUANTUM OF SOLACE (SONY FRANCE sources, but no official statement for the moment).
No translation at all : that's a bit surprising!
In fact, even if more and more "foreign" movie titles are not translated in France, it's the first time in Bond's history that a title which is not a name will remain exactly the same.
For instance, in France A VIEW TO A KILL was DANGEREUSEMENT VOTRE and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS was TUER N'EST PAS JOUER.
I have no idea of how this title will be received by the audience...
