Forty years after designing his own outfits for the Persuaders, Sir Roger Moore was eager to have another go at the fashion world. "Wide lapels," he was quoted as saying, "the secret is wide lapels!"
Sadly, even with the financial backing of Sir Bob Geldoff, the unveiling of the 2008 line was disastrous, hobbled in part by Moore's failure to locate willing models save for a pair of deranged vagrants, one of whom was subsequently arrested for taking indecent liberties with a duck.
