Ferry desperate for Bond role

Roxy Music star Bryan Ferry is considering swapping music for acting - and is hoping to make his screen debut playing James Bond's nemesis.

The singer is desperate to land a role in the 007 film franchise opposite Daniel Craig - but only if he is offered the role of a bad guy.

Ferry says, "I could maybe play a Bond villain in the future."

And the star is convinced that if Bond producers fail to offer him an acting part, he could always record the film's soundtrack.

He adds, "I'd like to do some music for a Bond movie one day. We're still writing so there's plenty of time."

(Personally I would love him to get the Bond theme)..

I've always thought there is a striking resemblance between Ferry and British actor Billy Murray who starred in The Bill and Eastenders. See what you think....

You know you're right, it's the eyes...well spotted! I guess everyone has a doppelganger.
Personally I always thought Brit actor, Peter Firth (MI-5 aka Spooks) looks like an older Daniel Craig.

Hmm I could see Bryan Ferry doing the title song for a Bond film.. He's an excellent musician.. His best album, outside of Roxy Music, is Boys and Girls (1985). Don't know about the acting as a bad guy though..

As much I like Bryan(and Roxy Music) my advice would be "Keep your day job,mate". If he were to do a Bond theme however...That would be cool.
