Do you we'll get a matching Ultimate Edition cover for the upcoming 3-disc Casino Royale: Collector's Edition?
No.

Yeah, I heard Fox Home Entertainment's art department still uses Windows 95 for their covers.I bet we'll get a crappy, generic cover created by someone with limited knowledge of MS Paint.

As tdalton mentioned, the teaser poster for the artwork, or something in that style would be quite nice. I'm just hoping we get a nicer looking cover than what we have now. I don't mind the layout, but I find the grey looks rather bland.

Agreed. They grey is the main problem with the current design. If it had a black and blue-ish green background, like the color of the teaser poster and the spine of the current DVD, then it would look much better.

But one thing that I'm thinking, what type of casing will it be housed in. Three is a bit of a weird number of discs, cause we know the style that most studios use for two disc sets with the same thickness as a normal case, but with a little tray in the middle. I'm thinking there's a couple of possibilities, either a boxset (ala Superman '78) where we might get a small boxset of two (or possibily three, with one disc in each) slim cases (the first housing the movie, plus booklet, the second housing both bonus discs), some sort of regular keepcase (I don't have any like that in my collection, but have seen some in the stores- I think season four of Corner Gas being the only one I've really noticed), or the third (and my favourite) option: a neat little fold out digipak (I really like the one that Hot Fuzz comes in, where it's designed like a police officer's notebook.
Can't wait to get this in June. Please let it come on blu-ray, and if not, who cares? The current DVD looks, especially when upconverted, and sound awesome! Just can't wait for this one.

...much like the Casino Royale title sequence.
Fantastic titles sequenc. Could definitely make for an interesting cover for this collector's edition. Would work especially nice if the DVD comes enclosed in some sort of outer box.

Waiting for the Fan arts

I seem to recall there being several interesting concepts posted throughout the past months in the Fan Art thread for this very release.

No, it'll definitly be a blu-ray disc. If I'm not mistaken, Sony's now done a couple of 2 disc Blu-rays, all with the second disc being blu. Superbad, Close Encounters, and Spiderman 3 (I don't have any of them to confirm), all 2 disc set, with both being blu-rays. I hope CR is added to that list, and maybe the casing could be one of those big digipaks like the Close Encounters one looks to be.My guess is the Blu Ray will be a new Blu-Ray with a SD DVD as a bonus holding all the stuff, thought it may be another blu ray, and that would be nice.

If all movies were edited together as their script, believe me, all movies would be bad. I'm tired of this psychosis of "deleted scenes I want more !", do the extra scenes in Goldeneye belong in there ? No.

For Spider-man 3, the second disc is mostly in HD. The package has a nice definitive disclaimer that states: "Special features are not rated and may not be subtitled or in high definition." That totally clears it up for me; now, who do I give my $35 to? On a side note, it does have a high def version of the release trailer for Casino Royale which is sweet. No, it'll definitly be a blu-ray disc. It won't match the slim cases themselves, however, it is still possible that they may make the cover art itself match the cover art for the Ultimate Editions. They will have to change it somewhat from the 2 disc set so the average consumer knows it is different. Regardless, since it is a 3 disc set, the case won't match the Ultimate Edition slim cases anyway.

To sound like Dr. Phil or your garden variety school counselor, it's what's on the inside that counts.
What I want to know is if some of the various stores will compete with different bonuses like the free Aston Martin, Bond on Set book or poker set, all of which I got when the original DVD was released a year ago.
