O is for O'Gill, Darby O'Gill. Darby O'Gill and the Little People is a Disney Studios film which starred Sean Connery before he began playing James Bond on the silver screen. It was reported in my SE-DVD box sets that Cubby and Dana Broccoli saw this film, and decided to cast Connery as Bond after watching it.

2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Darby O'Gill and the Little People, the Disney film which introduced Sir Sean Connery to the American film audience, and to one Albert R. Broccoli. Yes, I know it's available on DVD, but the Disney Channel needs to show it more often as well.

B is for Bentley, Bond's car in most of the Fleming novels. In the films, Bond is seen with his Bentley in FRWL as he is called to the Universal Exports office, driving up to Shrublands in NSNA, and as he is pursued by the booby-trapped milk truck in CR 1967. He also asks Q in the lab about the whereabouts of his Bentley in GF, only to find out M has ordered him to change cars, in the introduction to the DB-5.
