No, sorry...but I've added a line that shouldn't be there...so you probably will get this The Dove. The quote actually is just...

"You're hurting me!"

Yes my quote is from Die Another Day, glidrose, but you must also NAME the character who says the line...As for your quote...never heard of this one..is it from one of the novels or short stories??

The game is about movie quotes, not just any quotes. From the rules in post #1:

"1. Quotes from ALL James Bond films (official and unofficial) are fair game."

Doesn't expressly exclude novels. It doesn't say "may only quote the films, official or otherwise." The rule you cite implies that one may also quote from unofficial films. Or have I [censored]ed up?

I've followed this thread for a good while (temporarily killed it at least once with too obscure an answer), and it's always been specifically about movies. However, unofficial Bond films are definitely in bounds. (Not sure if that technically includes the 1954 CR on TV, but the '67 CR and NSNA are definitely OK.)

Pretty sure it's not from any screen version, including the '54 CR. Could it be from the novel of CR--does Mathis introduce Bond to Vesper that way (a "stage" introduction for the people around them)?

Here's a clue.

"This is James Bond, [word removed], an English friend of mine."

word removed = Niko

Here's another clue. The speaker is Ariadne. The novel is COLONEL SUN.

Anybody want to give it a go?

The quote is "This is James Bond, [word removed], an English friend of mine."

Let's see who the first winner is. If you're still stumped try google books online.

I think you've given the whole answer, haven't you? The only thing left would be to identify who "Niko" is, which is more detail than the quiz requires.
