George Lazenby shows up late in the film as a U.S. senator Gazzara's character has been asked to photograph in a homosexual liaison so that Bogdanovich's character, a CIA operative, can frame him. It was an interesting casting choice, and Lazenby doesn't really have a whole lot to do. It's really more Gazzara's chance to shine as his character wrestles with his sense of ethics vs. the financial windfall he will receive if he goes through with it.
I also notice a David Lazenby listed in the cast credits. I assume that he and George are related?
